Autumn Anthologies

Summer is nearly over and I've been spending my days writing - but it's time to put my pen down and turn to other matters. September has started well with the arrival of three new poetry anthologies which feature several of my children's poems. All the books out on sale now and I'd recommend them all!

I am also preparing for a poetry performance and workshops on the 7th of October at Cheltenham Literary Festival as part of their Schools Programme. I've never been to Cheltenham Festival before and I'm really looking forward to it. It would be great to see some of you there.

I'm travelling up on the 6th of October which also happens to be National Poetry Day. The theme this year is Messages, so I'll be leaving a trail of message poems for people to discover en route. I'll be tweeting about this on Twitter- so look out for the hashtag #nationalpoetryday.
