Longlists and Shortlists

I'm very pleased to hear that A Kid in My Class has been shortlisted for the North Somerset Book Award. The winner is announced in November 2019. The book is also long listed or the UKLA Award 2020. The kids in my class are delighted!

I'll be introducing A Kid in My Class to many other children on Wednesday 6th November as part of The Children's Bookshow at Northcott Theatre, Exeter. I'll be following this up with visits to schools in the local area to do poetry workshops with the pupils- all of whom will have received a copy of my book.

In other news, here's a sneaky peek of my forthcoming picture book The Problem with Problems illustrated by the wonderful Zehra Hicks. It will be published in March 2020 in 16 countries and 14 languages. I can't wait to see all the editions.
